The prices of the classes depend on the schedule of the package you choose. None of our courses have additional costs for tuition fees. The price does not include material used in the classes such as textbooks and notebooks.
Ackee Interactive offers language classes, for private study or small groups. Class are structured for children or adults, and are taught by competent professionals and native speakers organised around the day and time of your choosing. Courses, follow modern and effective methodology, supported by the use of audiovisual material. Grammar and conversation sessions for all levels, are imparted using patented methodology The Vowil Approach - a teaching technique developed by owner/director Kathy Owen, that is specifically adapted to the pace and learning ability of each student. The method has proven extraordinarily effective in its different versions for children and adults, and our team members use it in all languages under the supervision of its creator.
We also prepare students for First Certificate (FCE), Advanced Certificate and Proficiency Certificate using this method which has garnered markedly high pass rates in all levels of the exams.
We also have job-specific courses for all types of professionals and in any language. Our book clubs, conversation sessions and current-affairs chats, incorporate subjects on film and music and are especially popular as a deviation from traditional teaching styles which in turn encourages greater participation.
Classes are held in small groups of up to eight participants, formed in relation to the exact language level of each individual in the group, according to results of a required pre-entry interview.
Courses for children follow a schedule similar to the national school calendar each year, from September to the end of June, with one week of vacation in December, another in January and two at Easter. The extension of the course to the month of July is optional as July and August are normally geared towards our HOMESTAY programmes in which the focus is on intensive learning.
Although the prices that appear on this site are listed as monthly fees and according to the hours of weekly classes, each month students have classes on the days of choice, therefore if that class falls on a national holiday the festivity is respected and that class is considered null. The enrolled student accepts therefore, that depending on the days they choose the total number of classes in any given package may vary.
Classes missed in each month / package are not recovered because of a holiday.
We do not charge a registration fee for signing up for our courses, but once the required fees are paid and before your classes begin, if you wish to cancel the course to which you are enrolled, a 75% refund of the amount paid is returned.
Once the classes of each package have started, we do not issue refunds.
